The detailing department will enter their message in the Comments box and check the Send Alert check box. The sales person will see a light purple line on his Delivery Scheduler screen indicating there is a message for them.
Someone logged in with Salesman group level security will only have access to modify their own appointments or add an appointment to an unused time slot.

No, the Time Slot Defaults are setup once when we first install Auto Scheduler Advantage. When a schedule day is first entered, the defaults for that day are created. The Time Slot Defaults can be modified at any time.
Users with Sales Manager security level can add or delete time slots for any given date via the Delivery Calendar.
From any Schedule you can click on the Calendar link and if you are a Manager level user, you will see a Clock Face in each day of the calendar. Just click the clock face for the day in which you want to adjust the schedule and you can start either inserting new time slots or deleting time slots by clicking on the trash can next to the time slot you wish to remove.
The Sales Board displays a Pareto chart with a total of all cars scheduled for each sales person. This is a month-by-month segmentation of delivery information.
There is no limit to the number of sales people that can login and there is no extra charge for extra sales people.
Use the time slot defaults initially to prime the automatic creation of time slots. It is here where you setup the default time slots for each day of the week. The first time anyone goes into a specific day on the schedule the scheduler looks at the Time Slot Defaults and create daily time slots for that specific day.
In the Time Slot Defaults we have a Standard flag. This Standard Flag, when turned on means to display this time slot all the time. When the Standard Flag is turned off, the non-standard time slot will not display until the schedule for that day is 65% booked.
